AGAINST ANIMAL TESTING

Since its creation in 1968, Cattier has always been against animal testing.

None of Cattier's products have been tested on animals,
in compliance with the regulations in place in Europe, and the bill of specifications of Ecocert Greenlife.

Within the European Union, animal testing for cosmetic products has been banned since 11 September 2004, and since 11 March 2009 for ingredients or combinations of ingredients (with the exception of complex tests which don't have any other validated alternative method).

But since 11 March 2013, the European Commission has definitively banned animal testing for ingredients re-entering cosmetic products, and this in spite of the absence of alternative methods. This is a decisive advance for our industrial sector.

Moreover, Cattier does not sell in China any cosmetic products requiring registration and therefore animal testing.
